Welcome to Terradillos de los Templarios, a little town placed in the limit between the province of León and Palencia. It gets its name from the place name "terrado" (little elevation of the land).

The town is placed in a simple promontory in N-120 road which has the first houses of the locality, offering a little elevation from where all the horizon can be seen. The name of Terradillos came from this place name.

Here we can see the famous wine cellars excavated in the ground, are very similar to "Hobbiton" from the well-known film "The Lord of the Rings".
